Discover Lucky Castle Art Studio - Highland Park

Lucky Castle Art Studio offers a diverse range of programs, including fine art lessons for children, art camps, art parties, adult workshops, and parent and me classes. We are passionate about helping students develop their skills and achieve their artistic goals. The approach of our instruction depends on the program; this is based off of age and the general nature of the lesson or workshop!

At Lucky Castle Art Studio, our children’s art lessons are offered from 1:00pm-6:45pm Tuesday-Friday, and 10:30am-4:30pm on Saturdays. These are 90 minute lessons with a ratio of 1 instructor to a maximum of 8 students per class. We keep these classes small because of the academic and hands-on nature of the lessons, as well as having the ability to ensure the students are getting the most enriching lessons possible through adequate one-on-one instruction.  These lessons are targeted for students from the ages of 5-17 years old. The teaching is one on one, but the lessons are in a group setting.  We do our best to separate our students into similar age groups within the class. Please book at least an hour before the class starts to ensure we have time to prepare for your student. We do not offer walk-in classes. 

Our parent and me classes are less rigorous than our children’s fine art lessons. These classes for younger students accompanied by a parent. During these classes, the students will work on projects that are meant to start building their fundamental art skills in a fun and engaging way along side their parent. It is a great opportunity to bond while making beautiful art with your child.  These classes are 60 minutes long and offered on Sundays upon request. Please book at least an hour before the class starts to ensure we have time to prepare for your student. We are not set up for walk-in classes. 

Our Adult workshops are hosted once a month on the weekends. The specific days for adult workshops will be announced at least two weeks prior to the day of the event. We will be hosting still life workshops, figure drawing, and paint and sip nights as well. We are hoping to partner with local artists soon to expand the type of adult workshops that we are able to offer. 

Whether it’s a birthday party or another kind of celebration, our art parties can be used for any special occasion! We offer both children and adult parties, and our packages range from $150-$350 and an additional fee per attendee. The theme is chosen by you, and we will create a personalized project and instruct it during the party. Parties are 3 hours long with food breaks. We offer them around our scheduled classes and all materials are provided.

We offer art camps for kids during school breaks— like summer, fall, and winter breaks. We announce them a few months before and offer an early bird discount. They generally run from 9am-2pm throughout the work week, and we work on art projects, play games, and have lunch/snack breaks.

We welcome students of all levels, from beginners to experienced artists. Our admission process is straightforward and our staff is always available to answer any questions you may have. 

Our studio is located at 5622 N Figueroa Street with plenty of shopping, eats, and entertainment within walking distance. We also provide access to a wide range of materials and equipment, so our students can experiment and explore different mediums. The studio can accommodate up to 15 people at a time.
